I am first of all a father of two little kids who need a lot of attention right now and a husband to a precious wife. I’ve chosen my health profession because I feel a special care for the weak, unpopular, rejected people. I perceive my mission to bring healing, relief and kindness and hope to built on a society with more connection, tolerance, kindness and understanding. Professional specialties I am a psychiatrist, trained in CGT, Scheme focussed therapy, Mindfulness, NLP, EMDR and work especially with anxiety disorders and complex trauma. I am also a meditation coach: every week I guide a group in a medley of different meditation techniques. I am open to any paradigm and technique that can help others and have a strong resistance to absolute opinions that don’t question themselves. I love to combine various elements of different therapy schools and I am convinced that only combining visions, techniques and working together with people who work from different paradigms will create more efficiency in mental recovery. I fell in love with NLP in 2012 and use it combined with all the other techniques. I use the Social Panorama often in EMDR (the targets are objects in space). I use it also to explore problems, as a diagnostic tool, as a technique to regulate emotions.

De Thuisweg
An alternative way to look at psychological disorders and health. When all psychological phenomena are happening in mental space, this must also hold for psychological issues of all sorts. This will give a new direction to the psychotherapy of the future. Read more in our book Mental Spatial Diagnosis.
